Tom Willming
As a teenager, Tom earned the rank of Eagle in the Boy Scouts. He graduated in the top 10% of the class of 1959 and shared the Green and Gold Award. He earned 7 varsity letters and was captain of the football and baseball teams.
Tom served as a Captain and doctor in the united States Air Force from 1968 - 1970. His tours of duty were in Korea and California.
Tom served as team doctor for 38 years for the following organizations:
- Western Michigan University
- Hackett High School, Portage Central High School, Schoolcraft High School and Vicksburg High School
- Medical director of the Girls Little League World Series
- Boys National United States Tennis Association Summer Tournament
Tom was President of the Vicksburg Athletic Boosters from 1997-2007.
In 2006, Tom was inducted into the Michigan High School Football Hall of Fame for his many years of dedicated service.
