Elementary Art Program

Coloma's elementary art program provides students with opportunities to learn and to nurture a variety of art making processes, along with the development of fine motor skills and dexterity.

Creative thinking and problem solving skills are fostered in our art program.
Students become familiar with an art vocabulary and are encouraged to use those words during class critiques and when talking about art.

Our art program introduces significant artists to the students and many art lessons are based upon their famous artworks and styles.

Above all, our art program offers opportunities for self expression and that can enhance a student’s self esteem.

Also, art is fun and it feels good!
