Mr. Selvidge

Alan Selvidge graduated from Western Michigan University with a Bachelors degree in Art Education.  He is also an alumnus of Lake Michigan College and Coloma High School. 

When Mr. Selvidge is not working on his own artwork, he can be found singing with the LMC choir and playing the tenor banjo.  He has also performed for the past seven years with his band the “Deep Fried Pickle Project” at venues locally and around the country including Telluride Bluegrass Festival, Lollapalooza, and Off Broadway in St. Louis. 

 
 

Early Elementary Art Program

Washington Elementary’s Art Program focuses on developing basic drawing and painting skills with a strong emphasis on fun and individual creativity.  Students are encouraged to explore subjects that are interesting to them while gaining the experiences that will help them become lifelong artists.
