Dear Coloma Football Fan,
The 12 “Man” Club is an outreach to the community. The first goal of the club is to provide an opportunity for football parents and community members to learn about the game. Game film is shown and described to help them know what they are seeing and what the coaches expect to see.
The second goal is to explain the whole picture to interested community members. We want to share our philosophy, goals, and how we will get there. It will also be an opportunity for some to learn the more intricate parts of football such as blocking schemes and series offense.
The organization is designed to boost community and fan interest and better fan participation. We will ask the “members” to help the football program and Boosters find financial supporters and other business contacts. The program will spread the “word” about Coloma Football.
The first night is “Moms” night. We will spend time discussing the basics of football and what is expected from the young men in our program. I will answer any questions you have.
This is designed to help raise money for the football program. The Green is for families who donate $50. The Gold Club is for businesses who donate $100. After each touchdown we will announce a few club members. i.e. “That touchdown was brought to you by…the Smith Family, and The Lumber Yard.” As well as being posted on our web site. Contact Coach Eddy to make a donation or to gain membership.
We could also serve as the basis for the other extra man clubs at the school, for example a “6th man” for basketball.
