Coloma High School Golf

The golf team is open to all students in grades 9-12. The team practices and plays their matches at Lake Michigan Hills. The Comets compete in the Lakeland conference.
The 2010 team is composed of 4 seniors, 1 junior, 1 sophomore, and 2 freshmen.
The team's goals include competing for a Lakeland title, and to make it out of districts.

  • Master in the Art of Teaching – Marygrove College (May 2002)
  • 4th grade teacher at Washington Elementary (1999-2002)
  • 3rd grade teacher at Washington Elementary (2002-03)
  • Physical Education (5th, 6th, & 7th grade) teacher at Coloma Middle School (2004-07)
  • Robotics (6th & 7th) teacher at Coloma Middle School (2007-present)
  • Coloma Junior Varsity golf coach (2003-07)
  • Coloma Varsity golf coach (2008-present)

The junior varsity coach is Stan Watts.

The 2009 team finished 2nd in the conference, 4th at the district tournament and 4th in the regional tournament.
