National Honor Society

Scholarship: Must have a 3.5 overall grade point average and take a minimum of 4 academic courses per year

Leadership and Service: Must be actively participating in two or more extra-curricular activities for which no report card credit is received. Examples: Football, Pom Pom, FTA, etc.

School Citizenship, Attitude, Deportment: Are evaluated by the high school faculty. If three teachers indicate the need for improvement, consideration for membership will be delayed until the next initiation is held at which time another screening will be done

Candidate shall have spent at least one year in Coloma High School

Transfer students who were members of the National Honor Society at previous school, may transfer their membership to Coloma High School National Honor Society Chapter

Selection of members: Selection is held during the second semester each year. Induction ceremonies are held in the spring

Maintaining membership: a minimum 3.3 gpa must be maintained along with exemplary leadership, service and character
