Notification of Pesticide Application
As part of Coloma Community School’s pest management program pesticides are occasionally applied.Current regulations state you have the right to be informed prior to any pesticide application to school grounds and buildings. This is intended to serve as prior notice of regular pesticide treatment. Coloma Schools schedule of pesticide treatment of buildings is after school on the 2nd Friday of the month and/or the 2nd Saturday of the month during the school year. If school is not in session on the 2nd Friday, treatment may occur during that day on. During the summer months when school is not in session pesticide treatment may be done during the day on the 2nd Friday or Saturday of the month.
In certain emergencies pesticides may be applied without prior notice, but you will be provided notice following such applications. If you have any questions please contact your building principal or Terry Barella, Business Manager, at the school administration office
