Curriculum Review Cycle

Coloma Community Schools utilizes a robust and comprehensive curriculum material review cycle, reviewing a subject area each year on a six year cycle. For example, for the 2026-2027 school year, teams of reviewers will examine our current curriculum materials, our scope and sequence, our essential standards, and our assessments to ensure that we are meeting the needs of our stakeholders. The process will involve meetings, discussions, and review of different curricular materials that are available. As the teacher teams reduce the number of options, students and parents will have an the opportunity to review the materials and provide feedback to the district about the next adoption of materials. 

Upon completion of the review the following year we will move to the next subject and repeat the process.
