NOTICE AND STATEMENT OF NONDISCRIMINATION

 

Notice of Nondiscrimination

 

The District’s notice of nondiscrimination shall read as followings:

 

The Board of Education of the Coloma Community School District does not discriminate on the basis of sex and prohibits sex discrimination in any education program or activity that it operates, as required by Title IX and its regulations, including in admission and employment.

 

Inquiries about Title IX (or other Civil Rights issues) may be referred to the District’s Title IX Coordinator, the U.S. Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights (“OCR”), or both.

The Board designates Craig Fisher, CHS Principal as the coordinator who is ultimately responsible for oversight over the Board’s compliance with its responsibilities under Title IX.

To report information about conduct that may constitute sex discrimination or make a complaint of sex discrimination under Title IX, please refer to ccs.coloma.org.

Statement of Nondiscrimination

 

It is the policy of Coloma Community Schools that no person shall, on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin or ancestry, sex, disability, height, weight, marital status, or any other status covered by federal, state, or local law shall be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to, discrimination during any program, activity, service, or in employment.
