VOLUNTEER / VISITOR
At Coloma Community Schools, we pride ourselves on providing a safe learning environment for all of our students. As such, we require all volunteers and visitors to complete and pass a FREE background check via a designated online provider.
It can take up to two weeks to process requests for background checks. All visitors and volunteers need to have a completed background check prior to the activities. Once completed, you will be notified via email upon completion of the background check and status for visiting or volunteering at Coloma Community Schools, and if you are approved, you will need to pick up your badge from your chosen building prior to any activities in which you are volunteering.
The background check is valid for the school year. A new background check must be completed each school year. You will be issued a badge that stays in the school office that you will pick up and wear during your visits and volunteering. Any questions can be directed to [email protected].
